Perceiving What Is Infinitely Static, Minute, Light

The Dissolution Of Compactness Of Things
Perceiving What Is Infinitely Static, Minute, Light
Brain aging and its neurodegenerative mechanisms, Parkinson's disease and the role of neuromelanin and metals: discovering the infinitely motionless, small and light.
The research of exactitude to penetrate human substance and crystallize it in a well-defined and well-calculated design; evoke it in icastic images, therefore clear, incisive, memorable or in a precise language, like lexicon and rendering of the nuances of thought and imagination. These are the meanings that Italo Calvino gave to the term "exactitude", a value important to him to face the epidemy that he himself felt hit both the language and the image. This consideration is still effective, in a contemporary world where words and images seem to have already said and shown everything.
In this moment of transition to an increasingly visual society, images also play a fundamental role in the field of science. Precisely in this context, exactitude becomes a habit and only apparently solid: all around the vague flow of doubt, of questioning the truth of perception and mathematical abstraction. The compactness of the material disintegrates as the detail grows, reachable through the increasingly advanced technology of research tools available to the researcher.
